- 16×24, Crows Nest Pass, Alberta
- Materials: Acrylic Tar Gel, Iron oxide
This black and white photograph is printed by a Dye Sublimation Transfer onto an aluminum substrate then hand painted with acrylic gel mediums. These limber pines, in the Crows Nest Pass Alberta, are considered “The most photographed tree in Canada”. Estimated at an astonishing 700 years old when they fell to their death in the 1970′s, they still maintain their majestic characteristics. Hand painted with an acrylic tar gel medium and iron oxide, the twisted bark is realistic to the touch.
